07. The Plan of Salvation

You can enroll in this course from your student dashboard. You need to be logged in.

This course uses the book “The Plan of Salvation” written by our very own Professor, Dr. Dione Nancolas, to explain everything you need to know about Salvation through Jesus Christ. It answers over 80 questions on the topic.

This book researches and resolves the ‘great debate’ in the Christian community on Law vs Grace and explain both the details of the old and new covenants. Understanding the two covenants and their roles are key to understanding salvation. It also answers other questions that are key to salvation such as:

  • Who is God?
  • Is Jesus the only way to God?
  • How has Jesus Fulfilled the old laws (Old Testament) and made them new (New Testament)?

It outlines in detail God’s plan of salvation by brilliantly placing it on the timeline from the beginning of Genesis to Jesus’ death. It answers the question of how exactly Jesus’ death saves us and it tackles
many controversial topics in Christianity today.

Upon completing this course, you will be able to properly explain your faith and witness to others.

Discipleship 101 – Growing Strong

You can enroll in this course from your student dashboard. You need to be logged in.

Every Christian needs to understand their Christian faith, what it means for them, and what is expected of them. And too many do not.

Many do not know how to explain their faith to others because it was never taught to them because while they got saved, they were never ‘discipled’.

The process of discipleship, which is a mentorship program, is near and dear to Jesus’ heart. It was the way he lived his life from birth. From spending the time like every Jewish boy to learn the scriptures, then he spent time with God developing a relationship with him so he could learn to become his son, and learn what his divine role on the earth was. He spent time waiting on his Father, which meant a time preparing for that role. He lived in anticipation of his role. Then he stepped into his divine role at the right time and accomplished it to the end, and brought salvation to the whole world as long as they choose to receive it.

Jesus modeled the life of a true discipler, then he tasked the believers to do as he did. He told them they would do greater things than he did. Greater not meaning to be more than him but to continue his work and reach the rest of the world after he would leave.

He made disciples when he was on the earth, and he taught them and prepared them to carry on his work. And as he was leaving them, he told them:

Matthew 28:19-20 – New International Version

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Jesus’ disciples were told to go and make more disciples, and teach them everything he taught them, and then teach them to in turn make more disciples, until the world is evangelized. That is discipleship, and every believer is tasked with doing it. It is the divine mentorship program that the church is built on. It is how the gospel of Jesus Christ would reach the ends of the earth throughout the age.

A good discipleship program helps you know your faith, the word of God, and cause you to grow strong into a mature Christian and helps you to develop a strong love for your heavenly father, and to know and obey him more.

LESSON(S) IN THIS COURSE:

Estherority Awards & Recognition

Estherority Awards & Recognition

In a nutshell, you will quickly learn that Queen Esther literally entered a beauty contest to become Queen of Persia. The most beautiful women were gathered throughout the land and endured a grooming process to be chosen for the role of Queen and wife of the King.

Fast forward to today’s Beauty Pageants. It’s not just beautiful women parading around in bathing suits, something more serious such as character recognition is identified and awarded.  The Sorority wants to recognize and award the Ladies who display and perform at exemplary levels during their character building training in certain fields. Therefore, we have created 8 award categories and the criteria needed to achieve them.

The categories are broken down into 2 groups; Crowning, and Awards.  Of the 8 categories, 5 of them are crowning categories, meaning the recipient will be crowned and sashed and given titles.  The other 3 categories are award categories, meaning the recipients will receive awards and gifts.  Let’s now call these 2 groups ‘Recognition’.

How can a member become eligible for a Recognition?  During the training program of the Academy, members will be marked as potential candidates for one or more Recognition categories as they complete qualifying lessons.  Each Recognition Category requires a minimum amount of points to achieve each category, therefore, each course will state how many points they offer towards each Recognition Category.  and as the member completes each course, all Recognition points are accumulated for each category and tallied for the member.  Therefore, a member can see how far they are progressing towards achieving each Recognition Category, by the amount of points they have accumulated out of how many they need for each category.

Members may decide beforehand what Recognition they would want to achieve and then ensure they complete all the requirements.  Members, with no prior interest to achieving a recognition or not sure which they should vie for, as they progress through the training, they can make that decision simply by choosing the category in which they have accumulated the most Recognition points.  Finally, members can be nominated by their Chaperone, handmaids, and/or the Board of Directors as a candidate and recommend they try and achieve their recommended recognition.

Once a member has achieved a recognition, it is a lifetime endorsement.  However, they will reign publicly in that category for 1 year, and then they will hand over the baton to the following year’s recipient.
